PrestaShop's default configuration uses 800×800px for large product images, 250×250px for thumbnails and 380×380px for category images. Our tool includes all three as a preset.
Amazon requires product images to be at least 1000px on the longest side to enable the zoom feature. The recommended size is 2000×2000px. Main product images must have a pure white background (RGB 255, 255, 255).
Yes. Use Shrink mode for proportional resizing without cropping. Or use Fit mode when resizing to a square — this adds white padding without cropping any part of your image.

Every e-commerce platform has specific image requirements — and getting them wrong hurts your store in multiple ways. Images that are too large slow down your pages and waste server storage. Images that are too small appear blurry and unprofessional, reducing customer trust and conversion rates.
Consistent image dimensions across your product catalogue create a polished, trustworthy appearance. When all product thumbnails are the same size, your category pages look professional and are easier to browse — which reduces bounce rate and signals quality to Google.
imgflow includes platform presets for PrestaShop, WooCommerce, Shopify and Amazon, so you can generate all required sizes in a single click — no manual calculations needed.
Set a maximum width and the image scales down proportionally. Height adjusts automatically to preserve the aspect ratio. Ideal for reducing oversized photos before uploading. The real-time preview shows the image shrinking as you drag the slider.
The most common requirement for product images. Set the side length and choose how to handle non-square images: Fill (zoom and auto-crop), Fit (add white padding), or Crop (drag to choose exactly what to keep).
Set exact width and height in pixels. Choose Fill, Fit or manual Crop for images that don't match your target ratio. Use this for platform-specific requirements like Amazon's 2000×2000px or banner images.
Generate all the sizes your platform requires in a single batch. Select PrestaShop, WooCommerce, Shopify or Amazon presets, or add your own custom sizes. All sizes are included in the ZIP download, organised into folders.
Scale all images to a percentage of their original size. 50% halves the dimensions (and reduces file size significantly). Useful when you know the ratio but not the exact pixel dimensions you need.
Generate images sized for Instagram Posts and Stories, Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Pinterest and YouTube Thumbnails. Choose Fill, White or Blur background for non-matching ratios.
While Google doesn't directly rank pages based on image pixel dimensions, image sizing indirectly affects several ranking factors:
Serving images at their exact display size avoids the browser having to download a 2000px image just to display it at 400px. Correctly sized images load faster and improve your LCP score.
Images without defined dimensions cause layout shifts as they load. Consistently sized images eliminate this problem and improve your CLS score.
Google Shopping requires product images to be at least 800×800px for enhanced listings. Higher resolution images also perform better in Google Image Search results.
